The BMC Direct Intake Air System induction kit is a less expensive alternative to the CDA carbon induction kit (above).

 
It performs in the same way as the CDA kit but uses a plastic airbox instead of a carbon fibre airbox.
 
The kit also contains a flexible aliminium tube, which you direct to a frontal air intake on your car to enable constant air flow through the induction kit, into the engine.
 
The induction kit simply replaces your standard air box so the kit is very easy to fit and comes complete with all fittings needed.

Pipercross Induction Kits for the Audi TT

At the heart of the Pipercross air filter is a specially developed polyurethane foam which acts as the filtration medium, having both higher performance and life expectancy than paper.
 
For the Viper induction kits velocity air force directs cold air directly into the engine. The cold air feed pipe takes the air straight into the Viper's inlet, swirling it through a unique reverse-flow air filter contained within a carbon fibre heat shield, then into a ram pipe to increase the air pressure before feeding it into the induction system.
 
The carbon fibre heat shield protects the air charge from under bonnet heat keeping it cool, and therefore more dense, thus introducing more oxygen into the combustion mixture, giving the car increased power.

Your factory air box has a job to do. One of these being to silence the engine as much as possible! Not only does this often strangle the performance but it keeps induction noise to a minimum.

The pleated stainless steel mesh utilised on the air filter changes turbulent airflow on the outer surface to laminar (straight) airflow on the inside.
